His passion is civic issues and local governance in Bengaluru, and he serves as a Governing Council (GC) Member of BNP. He currently works as a Consultant with a leading media group, where he also writes columns occasionally.

Sarthak PradhanPublic Finance Researcher, Takshashila InstitutionSarthak Pradhan is an Assistant Professor at the Takshashila Institution. He teaches economic reasoning, researches public finance and conducts tutorials on government budgets. He has a PGP in Public Policy from the Takshashila Institution. He holds a dual degree from BITS Pilani.

Subbu HegdeGC Member, BNPSubbu Hegde is the President of Federation of Villa Community Associations of Bangalore. The federation has given a forum to agitate for civic amenities and provide legal guidance to member villa community RWAs. He is a life member of Citizen Action Forum, platform for raising civic issues. Cancellation of 800 crore rupees Steel flyover mooted in 2017 by filing an appeal in the National Green Tribunal was one of the achievements of CAF.
He is a member of United Bengaluru forum of Namma Bengaluru Foundation, fighting to save 29 lakes in and around Bengaluru. Further, he is the Promoter Director and CEO of Kaushalya Vikas Kendra, a Sec.8 company engaged in training school and college dropouts in vocational skills and creating sustainable livelihood for them. He was the president of Classic Orchards Property Owners Association. During his 10 year tenure, he led the legal fight against developers and BDA to hand over the civic amenities to the association and succeeded. During his tenure, Classic Orchards layout won prestigious awards from B.Pac for excellence in Water and Energy management. Further, the layout was awarded by BWSSB a certificate of excellence in water management and sewage recycling.

Vishnu ReddyBNP LeaderVishnu Reddy was the first employee to join Swiggy after the three co-founders, and participated in building one of India’s biggest tech companies. He has been working with BNP since January 2021. He is the Zonal President for Mahadevapura taking care of Bellandur, Marathahalli, and Munnekollal wards.

Bengluru NavaNirmana Party (BNP) and Habitat Forum (INHAF) invite you to a six-part webinar series, CAT in Municipal Governance being conducted between February-April 2024.
BNP’s model of municipal governance is based on three principals of C-A-T that is C- Citizen Participation, A- Accountability, and T- Transparency. Through the webinar series, BNP will present various aspects of urban governance which are being tackled by them innovatively. The six-part webinar series will provide insights on grassroots governance, sources of finance and apportioning, importance of Area Sabhas, and Ward Committees in allocation of funds and execution of projects, service delivery and analyze roots of misgovernance.
